The Councils Health and Safety team investigate Health and Safety accidents/incidents that occur in any premises that the Council has enforcement responsibility for.

We will tell the company that a complaint has been made. However we never tell employers who has made the complaint againt them. If you think that it will be obvious to the employer who has made the complaint then please explain why this the may be the case in the 'Additional Details' box on the form. In these circumstances we will take extra care and will carry out a general premises inspection which should hopefully prevent your identity from being revealed.
